Job Description: As a Bilingual Panoramex Tour Guide, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative guided tours of Guadalajara and its surrounding areas. You will act as an ambassador, sharing the rich history, vibrant culture, and must-visit attractions with our diverse group of guests. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided tours of Guadalajara and neighboring areas, following established itineraries and routes.
- Provide accurate and captivating commentary on the history, culture, and significance of various sites, monuments, and attractions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the tour.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation and coordination with local vendors.
- Adapt tour content and delivery to meet the interests and needs of diverse audiences.
- Address questions, concerns, and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Handle unexpected situations or disruptions professionally and efficiently.
- Stay updated with relevant information about the region, including current events, festivals, and local traditions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve the tour experience and develop new offerings.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience is not necessary
- Outstanding public speaking and storytelling abilities, captivating audiences from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, based on tour schedules and demand.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service-oriented mindset, dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for guests.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with local regulations and laws pertaining to tourism operations is a plus.
