Our guide was Hector “The Protector!” He was an enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable guide. He... read more introduced us to the cultural icon, mariachi singer, Vicente Fernandez. We were able to enjoy his music as we rode to various sights. Hector shared many interesting facts and stories about Lake Chapala and Ajijic. You will thoroughly enjoy any tour with Hector.

star ratingTour to Chapala and Ajijic  - We went to the towns of Chapala and Ajijic with our tour guide Sergio. The towns were very pretty and clean and the lakeside rather scenic, which gave a little... read more Mediterranean vibe I would say. We had enough time to walk around in both towns, take pictures, eat icecream and buy souvenirs. The town of Ajijic is like something out of the movie "Coco" - the church, the plaza Our tour guide Sergio told us about the history of the area, showed important places and was very friendly and enthusiastic when doing it, mixing it all with a little humour. At the end of the tour we had lunch in a place called La Iguana de Piedra and then headed back to Guadalajara. All in all it was a nice experience.

My day started out with Sergio picking me up from my hotel right on time and heading to Tequila. ... read more Sergio gave me insightful history about Guadalajara and Tequila while playing some Luis Miguel music on the way. We stopped at historic Tequila production sites and cruised around small towns eventually making our way to the beautiful city of Tequila in which we ate great food and shopped with the locals. Sergio was a great guide and made me feel safe and informed throughout the entire trip. Highly, Highly recommended!
