Job Description: As a Bilingual Panoramex Tour Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging guided tours of Guadalajara and its surrounding areas. You will act as a knowledgeable ambassador, showcasing the region’s history, culture, landmarks, and local attractions to our diverse group of visitors. You will be interacting with individuals and groups from various countries, so proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided tours of Guadalajara and its neighboring areas, following established itineraries and routes.
• Provide accurate and entertaining commentary on the history, culture, and significance of various sites, monuments, and attractions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
• Manage the logistics of the tour, including organizing transportation, coordinating with local vendors, and ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
• Adapt the tour content and delivery to meet the needs and interests of diverse audiences.
• Answer questions, address concerns, and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
• Handle unexpected situations or disruptions professionally and efficiently.
• Stay up to date with relevant information about the region, such as current events, festivals, and local traditions.
• Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the tour experience and develop new tour offerings.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both languages.
• Proven experience as a tour guide or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the tourism industry.
• Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and captivate audiences of different backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of Guadalajara’s history, culture, landmarks, and local attractions.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, based on tour schedules and demand.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a strong dedication to providing exceptional experiences for guests.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures is preferred.
• Familiarity with local regulations and laws pertaining to tourism operations is a plus.
